Sheriff Tom Hodgson has sent a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas regarding the shutdown of the ice facility at the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.
In the letter, Hodgson criticized Mayorkas for playing politics and shutting down the facility last month.
The sheriff is also calling on the secretary to publicly apologize to his staff he says were demonized and embarrassed by Mayorkas.
