A boogie-boarder was rescued on the Cape Cod National Seashore on Sunday morning.
The Eastham Police Department and the National Park Service arrived at Nauset Light Beach at around 9:30 a.m.
They were successful in bringing to safety the individual who was caught in a strong current and rough surf.
The Eastham PD says the quick response prevented a potentially much different outcome.
