The Nantucket Fire Department extinguished a blaze that got into the walls of a home on Main Street and also helped search for a missing child on Tuesday afternoon.
There were no injuries reported from the Main Street fire.
Damage to the house was estimated at around $75,000.
Meanwhile, authorities found the missing child who had reportedly gotten separated from a parent in a wooded area near the Boy Scout camp.
The child received a medical evaluation on-site.
