As Cape Cod gears up for a highly anticipated tourist season, a state lawmaker is calling for a climate impact landing fee on all private, corporate and charter aircraft in Massachusetts.

Cape Cod State Senator Julian Cyr has filed an act to mitigate the climate impact of private and corporate air travel.

It would impose a $1,000 fee on aircraft landing in airports across the state.
