The Town of Orleans is shutting down the entire Nauset estuary, including Town Cove, to shellfishing because of red tide.
That includes Meeting House Pond, Lonnie’s Pond,Quanset Pond, Pawwah Pond, and Pochet Creek.
On the Cape Cod bay side of town, RockHarbor, Namskaket and a little Namskaket Creeks are also closed.
