The victim of an apparent homicide in Falmouth is being identified.
Danielle Taylor of Mashpee was pronounced dead at Falmouth Hospital after being found unconscious in a room at the CapeWind Waterfront Resort in Teaticket on Monday night.
Officials say a second person in the motel room who was also found with injuries, a man who had been in a previous dating relationship with Taylor, was airlifted to a hospital in Rhode Island.
According to a report from The Boston Globe, Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe said further investigation is needed before any possible charges are filed.
An autopsy for Taylor is scheduled for today.
