Well the snow was sure pretty as it fell yesterday on Cape Cod, turning the area into a winter wonderland.
As predicted the canal area checked in with the highest snow totals, in East Sandwich about 8 inches fell, lesser amounts on the outer Cape.
No significant damage reported due to the weather although Eversource reports about a thousand customers in Orleans are currently without power, with scattered outages across other parts of the Cape.
The roads here in Barnstable are in good shape; icy and snow packed in spots.
