The Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment says although residents 75 years and older will be the next group eligible to receive a Covid vaccination in phase 2, most will not find an available appointment immediately on Cape Cod.
The County cites the reasons for the as being two-fold: they are still in the process of vaccinating eligible groups in phase 1, and that the County does not yet have an adequate supply of the vaccine.
Phase two of the vaccine rollout starts on Monday.
