Long-awaited new ordinances governing short-term rentals were tabled at the most recent Barnstable Town Council meeting.
Councilor Paula Schnepp of Marstons Mills, who withdrew the ordinances, told the Barnstable Patriot their futures depend on whether council leadership wants to bring them forward again.
Councilor David Bogan of Osterville said at the meeting that there are still issues with the ordinances that need to be addressed.
The council is set to meet again on Thursday.
