The Town of Barnstable is announcing that the barriers set up on Main Street Hyannis that were installed earlier this year will be removed next month.
The barriers were erected to provide additional space for pedestrians and businesses during the ongoing pandemic.
The town is advising that the last day of business use for the barriers will be Sunday, November 15th, and businesses are being advised items and installations placed between the barriers and the sidewalk must be removed by that date.
Removal of the concrete barriers will begin Tuesday, November 17th.
