It’s now been two weeks since a Coronavirus death was reported on Cape Cod.
Five new cases were reported on the Cape yesterday to increase the pandemic total to 1,832.
The Sandwich School District has announced a student at Oak Ridge School has tested positive; the case is believed to be isolated.
Meanwhile, two new Coronavirus cases were reported on Nantucket on Tuesday, ending a three-day streak of no new cases.
Three Covid-19 patients have reportedly been transferred off the Island for higher-level care since Monday.
The Inquirer and Mirror reports the Nantucket Board of Health held an emergency meeting yesterday and voted to require mask-wearing in all public areas, and to also limit all gatherings to ten people.
