A Mashpee man has been arraigned on charges related to an illegal fireworks incident late last month.
The Massachusetts department of fire services says Jeffrey Roberts was arraigned in Falmouth district court last week on charges including production of a weapon of mass destruction.
The state says the charges stem from a burn-injury incident at Roberts' apartment.
Fireworks and evidence of home-made explosive devices were allegedly found in the residence, and the materials were eventually detonated on a field at Mashpee high school.
