A Fitchburg man faces a slew of charges including a fifth OUI offense for a police chase incident on the Upper Cape on Saturday night.
Sandwich police reportedly responded to an erratic driving report in the town; the driver was identified as Robert Leonard.
He allegedly rammed the side of a police cruiser intentionally before speeding off, eventually going into Bourne and crossing the Sagamore Bridge, and crashing into a tree on Route 3, according to authorities.
They say Leonard was not seriously hurt.
