A lot earlier than they usually announce these things. The Commonwealth will embark on a State Sales Tax Holiday August 29 and 30th.
Officials say that it is more important this year than most years since residents need to stretch a dollar and sales need to be improved for stores.
Cars, real estate and boats are excluded from the holiday.
