A Massachusetts State Senator says there needs to be increased protections for consumers during the pandemic.
Republican Senator Bruce Tarr wants to expand the current laws banning gouging on petroleum products to any product needed for the public health during an emergency.
Tarr says the additional laws would prevent some manufacturers from taking advantage of a crisis.
