The latest numbers seem to be encouraging. A little more than 79 thousand total cases of Covid-19 in the state.
That is up less than a thousand.
More than 5,100 people have died.
Barnstable County reporting 1,093 cases. Dukes County 23 and Nantucket 12.
However, state officials now say that some of the numbers that should have been reported Tuesday showed up in Monday's report so that is why the numbers seem lower than normal.
The latest report shows just 33 people died in the last report because of the virus.
