The USDA is going to make about 19 billion dollars in purchases as part of the Coronavirus Bailout.
And the Massachusetts Congressional delegation wants to make sure the fishing industry is represented.
Congressman Keating and Senators Markey and Warren wrote to the Commerce Secretary Sonny Perdue to include the domestic seafood industry.
Seafood is included in the deal but the delegation wants to make sure local fishermen are taken care of.
