Governor Baker Mulls Reopening Of State

The Governor says he is not quite ready to release any information that deals with the potential reopening of the state.

But some business owners in the area say you can't reopen at the snap of a finger.

They need time to prepare in order to comply with any requirements for reopening.

Meanwhile, State Court officials say that the courts will remain closed to the public until June 1st of this year.

The courts will remain open for emergency business.

The earliest a jury trial will be able to start now will be July 1st.

Also, there’s more funding going toward the state’s nursing homes.

The Governor says 130 million dollars that will be used for additional personnel, supplies, cleaning and other things needed during the Covid-19 crisis.
