US Senator Ed Markey says that the country is just at the beginning stages of the Covid 19 crisis and it could go on for some time.
The Senator on a conference call with mayors and the fishing industry.
As part of the economic stimulus package signed by The President last week there is 300 million dollars for the fishing industry. But industry experts say that is nowhere near enough.
Markey says the payments to the fishing industry will be made on a rolling basis and will come a lot faster than other payments to the industry in the past.
