A call is going out around the area for volunteers in the aftermath of the crisis.
Officials say because of health concerns there is a need --- and in the alternative--a great need for monetary donations as well.
The Family Pantry of Cape Cod is one of the needy organizations.
They serve more than 10 thousand people and officials say they will stay open as long as they can.
Officials at all the pantries say they have protocols for social distancing in an effort to stay as healthy as possible.
