First Positive Tests For Coronavirus Surface On Cape

The first two positive cases of the Coronavirus are being reported on Cape Cod.

The first-announced case was a man in his 60s from Sandwich.

Barnstable Public Schools says the man is the spouse of a staffer at Barnstable Community Innovation School who has also tested positive.

School Superintendent Meg Mayo-Brown says the staffer's last day of work was March 6th, and says all staff and students at the school should go into quarantine.

The Chatham Community Center has closed after it was learned that the man who first tested positive was in the building on February 29th, according to town officials.
