More than 300 thousand dollars goes to communities in order to help them deal more efficiently with upcoming storm water regulations.
Among the grant awards more than 45 thousand dollars for Mass Maritime Academy for the Buzzards Bay Storm Water Collaborative.
State officials say the monies are used to better educate the public about the materials they cannot put in the storm water system.
