Two Plymouth High School Teens Charged With Attempted Arson

Two teenagers are charged with attempted arson for allegedly short circuiting power outlets at Plymouth North Regional High School.

The boys reportedly were performing a stunt seen on a viral video where a penny is touched to the partially plugged in prongs of a cell phone charger.

The trick causes the outlet to spark, and the 15-year-olds reportedly caused hundreds of dollars in damage.

The boys are also charged with malicious damage to property.
