The American Red Cross is extending its urgent call for donors of all types to give blood or platelets.
With the winter, the flu and the busy holidays, donations were way down and now supplies are at a critical low. Particularly Type O.
Right now there is a three day supply. Red Cross dot org if you care to schedule an appointment.
The next blood drive in Barnstable County is set for the Harwich Community Center on the 31st from 1 to 6.
