The Cape Cod Commission has approved the Bourne Local Comprehensive Plan.
Unanimous vote, it was the first Cape Community to have their Long Range Comprehensive Plan approved.

Among other things the document stresses the importance of locally owned rather than national chains and the continuing need for affordable housing.
