The Attorney for Malik Koval says that he believes one of the two Falmouth Police officers allegedly shot by his client was actually shot by friendly fire.
Koval is still in prison where he awaits trial.
Koval was indicted on armed assault to commit murder charges. A pretrial hearing is set for January 24th.
Meantime defense attorneys say they are still looking for more detailed ballistic reports about the shooting.
