It appears that The Cape is going to be spared the brunt of Hurricane Dorian later this week.
The path of the storm takes it well out to sea. However forecasters say that there could be a fair amount of rip currents and beach erosion and downpours because of the hurricane.
Looks like late Friday into Saturday we will see the effects but that is subject to change as well.
