The Governor’s 18-billion dollar transportation bond package has some good news for The Cape.
350-million dollars goes to infrastructure improvements leading to the Sagamore and Bourne Bridges.
Among other things an extra lane on Route 6 will be built and a new rotary on Belmont Circle designed to reduce congestion.
Meantime, a billion dollar replacement for the bridges is making its way through congress.
