The Hyannis West Elementary School will be the August beneficiary of the Star Market Give Back Where It Counts program.
Funding comes from the sale of reusable bags at stores with some of the proceeds going to area schools.
The program has been instrumental to donating nearly 27-thousand dollars to more than 600 non profits since the program was launched.
