A citizens group in Nantucket is challenging the permitting process that they say gives more weight to offshore wind projects than the environment.
Officials of the group say they have sent their protest to the fed in the form of a letter to the fed.
Federal officials are going through that letter and at least four others before they make a decision in November of this year as to whether they will allow the project to move forward.
