The rape trial of a 33 year old Brookline man was going to start in Barnstable Superior Court but has been postponed with revelations that more than 2 thousand text messages have been discovered that were never turned over to the defense. Anthony Collins was indicted on two counts of rape. Prosecutors contended the messages contained no evidence. The defense says its not their decision and so the judge has moved the trial to October.
