It's being revealed who donated one-million dollars for a municipal purchase in Wellfleet. Select board member Helen Miranda Wilson revealed on Friday that she is the donor who helped jump-start the purchase of shellfish flats, which was then approved in town meeting. The subject of who made the donation made headlines when the Provincetown Banner newspaper appealed to the state to force the town to disclose the anonymous funding source. The town of Wellfleet initially refused to make the revelation.
