A management board formed to oversee the new Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund has held its first meeting. The fund was formed through the state's new tax on short-term rentals. The board, led by Sandwich Town Manager George "Bud" Dunham and consisting of 15 members from each town on the Cape, will collect funds for towns to use for wastewater management projects.
