Town attorneys in Dennis are asking a Superior Court Judge to rule by the end of June in a suit with Yarmouth.
Yarmouth filed the suit claiming the regional school committee shouldn’t have gone around the town meeting in order to build a new school.
The state will foot the bill for $44-million for a new regional school. The judge will decide whether a town may go to town meeting or must go to town meeting.
