National Police Week is underway in Washington.
The family of Officer Sean Gannon is there to see the unveiling of Sean’s name on the National Police Memorial.
The family of Weymouth Police Sgt Michael Chesna are there as well. His name will be unveiled on the same monument.
A statement from the Yarmouth Police Department this weekend says that the two families will meet and will support each other through the week.
