Sandwich Town Meeting is set for Monday at 7 at the High School.
Residents will be asked to approve a 78 million dollar operating budget. But while officials say they have been responsible and selective, they are concerned with the level of state funding. We will know more about that after the budget cycle on Beacon Hill.
They also concede that no one is happy with the high property tax rate; they say it is the highest on the cape. The Finance Committee says that is due to lower than the norm property values.
