A woman who was involved in a motor vehicle collision on the Mid-Cape last week has died. The Yarmouth Police Department says Cathy Flavin of Yarmouth Port died at Cape Cod Hospital after the crash on Route 28 in West Yarmouth on Thursday. Police reports indicate the SUV being driven by Flavin collided head-on with a large construction vehicle. A witness said they saw Flavin's vehicle sideswipe a telephone pole and then cross into the opposite lane before the wreck.
