Barnstable State Rep. Tim Whelan says the House has approved a measure for $50,000 for the just established Cape Cod Municipal Training Academy. The first training class will go through beginning in July. Whelan says that the money will go along way to insuring the training needs of the county. About half of the first class of 45 is from the Cape. Still got to get through a Conference Committee.
