Provincetown Police Open House Weekend

The Provincetown Police Department has scheduled back-to-back open houses this weekend at their current station at 26 Shankpainter Road.
On Saturday and Sunday, March 30th and 31st, from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M., anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of the condition of the current police station and why it should be replaced should stop in and have a look.
Department personnel will be on hand to assist you and answer any questions regarding the current as well as proposed building.
Chief Jim Golden says a new police station would provide improved operations, increased building security and enhanced workflow and efficiency, to help our police officers continue to provide P-town residents with excellent service.
This is a chance for voters to come and see the current facility for themselves, so they can make an informed decision at the April first town meeting.
