AAA/Gas Prices Up Six Cents

In its weekly survey of gasoline prices in Massachusetts, AAA Northeast finds that the cost of self-serve regular unleaded is up six more cents this week averaging $2.50 per gallon.
Over the last six weeks, prices locally have jumped 16 cents per gallon.
The Massachusetts price is twelve cents lower than the national average of $2.62 for unleaded regular.
A year ago at this time the average price in Massachusetts was the same as it is today.
The range in prices in the latest AAA Survey for unleaded regular is 74 cents from a low of $2.31 to a high of $ 3.05.
