No Re-Authorization For Seashore Advisory Group From Senate

The future of the Cape Cod National Seashore Advisory Commission is getting cloudier.
A spokesperson for Senator Ed Markey tells the Cape Cod Times that the Senate did not include an amendment authorizing the commission for another decade when it passed the Natural Resources Management Act On Tuesday.
A similar bill from Congressman William Keating has been referred to a subcommittee.
The Seashore Advisory Group has had limited meeting action since President Trump took office and ordered a review of all federal advisory boards.
