The project to renovate McKeon Park in Hyannis just received a financial boost from the Yawkey Foundation.
The Cape Cod Baseball League received a $100,000 grant from the Foundation which will be used to build handicap-accessible dugouts and contribute to the design and cost of a state-of-the-art scoreboard.
The town of Barnstable, in July, awarded the Harbor Hawks $700,000 to rehabilitate Judy Walden Scarafile Field at the park. The renovations began almost four months ago.
