The Barnstable Department of Public Works will mill and pave a short section of Airport Road at the intersection with Route 132 in Hyannis beginning tomorrow (Wednesday). Failed sections of pavement at this intersection will be removed and replaced with new asphalt pavement. Work is expected to be completed by Thursday, weather permitting.
Vehicle access will be restricted to one lane during the construction. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid possible delays.
Operations will start promptly at 7 AM and run until 5 PM, after which time through traffic will be opened back onto both lanes of the roadway.
