COMM/Man Hit By Car

Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department Rescue responded Wednesday morning to a report of a man struck by a vehicle.

The unidentified victim was hit by a car which was backing out of a residential driveway on Cotuit Road in Marstons Mills.

The man was found with a lower leg injury from being struck by a tire.

Due to the nature of the potentially life-threatening injury, a med-flight helicopter was requested and flew the patient to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.

His condition has not been released and the accident is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
