Bay State Wind, which lost out to Vineyard Wind to build the first wind farm off the coast of Massachusetts, is still pursuing the opportunity to develop a wind farm off of the Vineyard.
Bay State Wind will hold open houses on both Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard in December in an effort to give residents a closer look at their company and goals.
The first open house is slated for December 5 in Oak Bluffs at the Loft Nightclub at 9 Oak Bluffs Avenue from 4-to-6 p.m.
The second open house is scheduled for December 6 at the Nantucket Historical Association Whaling Museum at 13 Broad Street from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
