Provincetown Select Board Votes Chairperson Out

The chairperson of the Provincetown Select Board is being removed.
Louise Venden was voted out of the position by the rest of the board at a special meeting last week.
A report in the Provincetown Banner says members criticized Venden's leadership and said she treated town staff abusively and had an aggressive tone on a public thread on Facebook.
Select Board member Tom Donegan was elected as the new chair until January 30th.
After that, Cheryl Andrews will take over for the remaining term.
