There was a fatal crash in Harwich over the weekend.
The Harwich Police Department, on its Facebook page, said the crash happened just before 2 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Long Pond Drive and Oak Street. First responders came upon a vehicle that had struck a utility pole and rolled onto its side.
The 24-year old woman driver suffered what Harwich Police called non-survivable injuries. The state medical examiner’s office took custody of the body.
Harwich Police say the crash appeared to be an accident however an investigation continues into the cause.
