The Falmouth Fund of The Cape Cod Foundation has reached a milestone. Since 2009, it has granted almost $500,000 to more than 70 local nonprofit organizations serving the Falmouth community. As it enters its 10th year of grant-making, it will award up to $100,000 this year to nonprofits for projects and programs across a range of focus areas: education; health and human services, arts and culture; and the environment.
There are two funding categories for nonprofit organizations submitting applications this year: General Grants and Strategic Focus Grants. General Grants address emerging opportunities, launch creative initiatives, or cover costs of small, one-time projects for the organization. The application deadline is December 15. Strategic Focus Grants address strategic initiatives and long-range organizational capacity-building.
