State shark expert, Dr. Greg Skomal, on Monday, tagged the tenth and eleventh great white sharks of the season. Working with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, Skomal tagged #10, an 11-footer off Nauset Beach about 100 yards from shore.
Great White #11 was tagged about a quarter-of-a-mile off of Nauset spit.
This is the fifth and final year of a study by the Conservancy on the great white population off Cape Cod.
