There have now been nine great white sharks tagged in waters off Cape Cod this summer.
Marine biologist, Dr. Greg Skomal, was back to searching for the animals following Thursday’s thunderstorms. The shark was tagged off Monomoy and was estimated to be about 12-feet long.
Skomal is working with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy in what is the final year of a five-year white shark population study.
